It was debated for 8 hours !
Apr 04, 2017
The Sexual Offences Against Children Bill was debated for 8 hours in Parliament yesterday, but has yet to be passed.
The debate wil continue today, as several MPs want clarifications on the technical aspects of the bill, such as the definitions of age, victim, location of sex crime and child porn.
Meanwhile, the PM's Dept has clarified the bill will not include child marriages, as touching a person under 16-years of age in marriage, is legal.
