The Election Commission has rubbished recent viral messages, regarding the next general election.

The Election Commission has rubbished recent viral messages, regarding the next general election. 

This includes claims that people must register by TOMORROW, for them to be eligible to vote if the election were to take place by March next year.

The EC told the NST, people can still register after tomorrow, and their names will be in the third quarter supplementary electoral roll for 2016.

The EC also rubbished another claim, that Malaysians can register as voters via by sending it a Whatsapp message.
