Air quality continues to improve after yesterday's haze

Aug 30, 2016

Air quality in the country has continued to improve following yesterday's haze.

At 3pm, Nilai, Negeri Sembilan was the only area that posted an unhealthy 24-hour average API reading of 101, the highest in the country.

Meanwhile, other areas in the Klang Valley that were hit by haze are currently registering moderate API levels.

Heavy rain early this morning helped clear up the smoke, but it also caused flash flooding in several parts of the Klang Valley.
