TNB says a 'Locked House Notice' letter that went viral on social media is GENUINE, and NOT a fake.
It clarified, such notices are issued by its metering unit in KL as part of normal procedure when they cannot access a house to check the meter.
TNB has also asked people to stop sharing the post, because it could affect the TNB employee whose name is listed on the notice.
A social media post had claimed fake notices from TNB were being sent to houses for the purpose of carrying out robberies.
