PJ Man Nabbed Following Viral Child Abuse Video

A 38-year-old man has been arrested in Petaling Jaya for allegedly physically abusing two children.
Cops say the suspect is the victims’ uncle.
They believe the incident happened after the children had a fight with their grandmother.
A viral video allegedly showed the suspect caning and throwing a chair at the victims.

Firm KPIs will be put on students under the Education Blueprint 2026-2035.
The Education Director General says among other things students must earn at least a C in Bahasa Melayu, English, Maths and History.
It wants 90% of students in upper primary to Form Five to meet the passing standard in physical fitness and health assessments.
The PM is expected to launch the new education blueprint on Tuesday.

The family of actress Nadia Kesuma has confirmed that she has passed away, after being reported missing in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Reports say the 49-year-old had a medical emergency.
However, her husband urged members of the public to wait for an official statement from Wisma Putra over the cause of death.

The National Service Training Programme plans to boost its intake to 25,000 trainees annually once 13 new camps are opened nationwide.
Meanwhile, 750 places are available for this year's first intake, in Pekan, Pahang and KL.

MyDigital ID says so far, 8.7 million people have registered for the online identity platform.
It adds that it's targeting 15 million new registrations this year under its recently launched awareness campaign involving e-hailing drivers.
