schools cannot block student transfers because of discipline

Schools cannot use a student's health or disciplinary issues as justification to block their admission.  

The Education Ministry told Utusan Malaysia such reports can only be used as reference guide by their new schools.  

Starting next year, students transferring to new schools must provide full disciplinary and health reports.  

It's part of with efforts to deal with issues including bullying, sexual harassment and security in schools.

His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, the King of Malaysia, and Her Majesty Raja Zarith Sofiah, the Queen of Malaysia, have extended their Christmas greetings to Christians across the country.
