No More Compromise on Overloaded Lorries

The Transport Ministry has defended its tough stance against overloaded lorries.
It adds that enforcement will continue despite complaints from industry groups regarding rising costs and project delays.
The ministry explained that the country must prioritize public safety and road integrity.
In fact, overloaded vehicles not only endanger other road users - but also cause severe damage to public roads and highways which cost millions in repairs every year.

Good news for motorists!
The Road Transport Department is offering 50% off all traffic summonses for the remaining two months of the year.
The discount will apply to all summonses, except those that are not eligible for compounding.
