A- Students Can Still Get Into Matriculation Programmes

a- students can still get into matriculation programmes

SPM candidates who scored A- grades are still eligible to enter matriculation programmes.  

Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek clarified that her ministry had NEVER issued any statements claiming they were ineligible.

She insists they have every right to apply for entry, and selections will be based on merit.   

She also clarified that AUTOMATIC eligibility is only given to those who scored 10A+ and solid A grades.

The Digital Ministry says the MyGOV Malaysia app will be launched next month. 

It's a one-stop app that offers govt services including passport applications, driving license and road tax renewals, summons payments, medical appointments and records, and land tax and assessment rates.

An arrest warrant has been issued for the owner of the lorry company that was involved in last month's fatal accident that killed FRU personnel.  

This, after he failed to turn up at his trial for alleged violations of safety SOPs.

A court in Kuala Terengganu has sentenced a former school principal to 15 years in prison after being convicted for multiple sexual offences against a student in 2020 and 2021.   

He was hit with 13 charges of including rape and physical sexual assault against the victim, who was 16 at the time.
