Healthcare Report In Limbo

It could be a while before the report into rising health insurance premiums and private hospital charges is finalized.  

The Public Accounts Committee says it's because many stakeholders are involved, and that new issues emerged during proceedings.  

As such, it'll take time for so many parties to be called in.

The Sultan of Pahang has announced that civil servants in the state will be allowed to leave work earlier every Friday throughout Ramadan. 

This means working hours for government servants will end at 12:30PM. 

His Majesty adds that this will allow them to spend more time with families during the fasting month.

Bank Negara says the economy grew by 5.1% last year, up from 3.6% in 2023.

The Works Ministry says PLUS will be implementing a multi-lane fast flow system in April.

Elsewhere, a German court has found three men guilty for trying to blackmail the family of ex-Formula 1 champion Michael Schumacher. 

Schumacher has not been seen in public since a 2013 ski accident, which resulted in serious brain injuries. 

His family have since kept his medical condition private.
