M'sia Has 52k Accidents And 430 Deaths Each Month!

On average, Malaysia sees 52 thousand accidents and 430 accident-related deaths every month!
This, following an analysis of the data that PDRM publishes daily.
In all, there have been more than 351,000 accidents and 2,800 deaths since the Transport Ministry ordered the publishing of daily figures in mid-March.
This, as 1,874 road crashes were reported nationwide yesterday, leading to 9 deaths.

Brace yourselves for more wet weather over the next few months.
According to MetMalaysia we should expect up to six episodes of continuous heavy rain during the Northeast monsoon season.
It expects increased rainfall in east coast states over the next two months, and in Johor, Sabah and Sarawak in February and March.
The Northeast Monsoon is expected to take place from next month until March.

Police will seek to extend the remand orders of 24 people detained over the ongoing GISB probe, including its CEO.
Their detention periods are due to expire tomorrow.
The IGP adds that so far, 206 GISB-linked accounts have been frozen, involving funds of RM1.3 million.
