MCMC To Meet Social Media Firms over AI Concerns

The MCMC will meet social media companies this month, to discuss several pressing issues.
The Communications Ministry says the talks will cover having improved SOP’s for posts …and how to address the problem of AI-generated content.
The Ministry said this in response to concerns about the rising cases of deepfakes – or AI-created videos and images of local personalities.

Police will continue patrolling the site around the Jalan Masjid India sinkhole.
This is to ensure public safety in the vicinity…with the cops also advising people not to get too close to the incident site.

Meanwhile, the recovery and reconstruction of the area around the Jalan Masjid India sinkhole could take up to half a year.
The KL Mayor says the operation will involve the inspection of underground utility systems and telco cables.
