The government has launched the National Fraud Portal, which will use Artificial Intelligence to help crack down on fraudulent transactions.

Bank Negara says it currently involves 16 participating financial institutions, with more to be added soon.

The central bank adds that the new portal will be used in tandem with the National Scam Response Center to better address financial fraud.

Details of the new civil service pension scheme will be announced by the end of the year.

The Finance Ministry says the Public Service Department is currently reviewing the plan.
