Penang police hunt abusive parents

Penang police have launched a manhunt for the parents, who allegedly scalded their 8-year-old daughter with hot water.
Police believe the girl’s father was punishing her as he suspected that she stole 10 ringgit from her mother.
The cops say the girl was taken to hospital by her neighbour and the parents have fled their home since the incident.
