Anwar calls on Australia to return Sirul Azhar Umar

Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has urged Australia to deport convicted murderer, Sirul Azhar Umar back to Malaysia. 

The PKR de facto leader says if this doesn't happen, the Australian government could be perceived as a nation that shields wrongdoers.

Sirul was sentenced to death for his role in the murder of Altantuya Shaariibuu, but then fled to Australia. 

Australia has a policy of not deporting a fugitive who faces execution in their home country.
