Daim taps individuals for 1MDB task force

The government's newly-formed Council of Elders has identified key individuals to assist a task force, which will reopen investigations into the 1MDB case.
According to The Singapore Straits Times, former Finance Minister and member of the council, Tun Daim Zainuddin says those identified include former MACC chief commissioner, Tan Sri Abu Kassim Mohamed, and former Bank Negara deputy governor, Datuk Shamsiah Yunus.
Both individuals had a role in investigating the 1MDB financial scandal in 2015.
