Police to verify death of Malaysian militant

The police are ready to work with their Filipino counterparts, to verify the death of Malaysian militant Dr Mahmud Ahmad.
The IGP says his men have already obtained DNA samples from Mahmud's next of kin, and are waiting for Filipino police to ask for it.
The former lecturer-turned-militant is believed to have been killed in fighting in the southern Philippines city of Marawi earlier this month.
