Missing 11-year-old girl is found

An 11-year-old girl in Miri who disappeared from school on Tuesday, has been found in a forested area.

Her 36-year-old brother-in-law, who is believed to be the person who abducted her, was arrested by police on scene.

The girl was found still in her school uniform with her hands tied and was sent for a medical check immediately.

It's unclear what was the motive for the kidnapping and whether the girl was harmed.
