Police tracking down suspected child molester

Terengganu police are tracking down a man who allegedly molested an 8-year-old girl at a school in Dungun, Terengganu on Monday.

The child told her parents the man told her to follow him to the storeroom because a friend was trapped inside, but tried to carry her in when she refused to enter.

He ran away when the Year 2 student started screaming.

The girl's parents thought she was making up a story when she first told them, but lodged a police report after the school called them with CCTV evidence.
