Only blood test can tell if a person is immune against Zika
Sep 13, 2016
The Health Ministry says only a blood test can tell if a person has immunity against the Zika virus.
This, following a report by the WHO, which said the virus was first detected in Southeast Asia, including Malaysia in the 1960s, which could mean that many Malaysians are already immune to it.
Malaysia has so far confirmed 4 cases of Zika, while 40 others are undergoing testing after being identified as suspected cases.
