Toddler dies after being left in a car for over 5 hours

A 1-year-old girl in Saleng, Johor died after her parents allegedly left her in a car for over 5 hours.

The father says he did not realise his wife had placed the baby in the back seat and went straight to work.

He only realised when the babysitter called asking about the child at around 3pm yesterday.

The man rushed to his car and found his daughter in a weak condition, and she was later pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
