Police are tracking down a suspected IS member

The police are tracking down a Syrian man who was found with a bomb-like object in his hotel room in Port Dickson yesterday.

Hotel staff found the object under the mattress while cleaning his room, but couldn't stop him from retrieving it and escaping.

The police are concerned the Syrian may be a member of the IS planning an attack in Malaysia and are tracking him down based on CCTV footage.
