Man remanded for 7 days after holding woman hostage

The man who held a woman hostage in Kota Kinabalu after a failed robbery attempt last night, has been remanded for 7 days.
The 26-year-old drug addict will be investigated under the Kidnapping Act and for attempted murder.
The police are also still trying to determine if the man has any previous convictions, as he has no documents.
