Grace period for Kejara Demerit Points System

Road users have been given a grace period before the Kejara Demerit Points System comes into effect mid this month.
The Transport Ministry says although the Automated Awareness Safety System or AWAS was launched on Saturday, traffic offenders will only begin accumulating demerit points from the 15th.
From now until the 15th, those who speed or beat traffic lights will just be sent notifications.
