Kelantan declares a state disaster

Kelantan has declared a state disaster, due to the outbreak of H5N1 bird flu there.
This, after the outbreak spread to the districts of Pasir Putih and Bachok, having earlier been detected in Kota Baru and Pasir Mas.
Under the emergency order, all relevant departments in the state, and not just the Veterinary Department, will be mobilised to control the outbreak.
