Schools closed in Perlis and Jerantut and Temerloh in Pahang

All schools in Perlis and Jerantut and Temerloh in Pahang have been ordered to close today due to the extremely hot weather.

The Education Ministry made the call after temperatures in affected areas rose above 37°C.

However, the school closures only involve students and not staff, and the session need not be replaced.

All Kemas kindergartens and nurseries in Perlis, Jerantut and Temerloh in Pahang will close today as well.
