Man arrested for locking up girlfriend

A man has been arrested, suspected to have locked up his girlfriend at a rental room in Sibu, Sarawak, since the start of last week.
He allegedly tried to force her to ask for money from her family as well, threatening to harm both her and her family.
However, the victim managed to escape from her boyfriend, and lodge a police report.
