Apr 17, 2016

At least 41 people have been killed in this morning's powerful earthquake in Equador.

The 7.8 magnitude tremor, which struck off the country's northwestern coast also caused 'considerable damage' near the epicentre and at the comercial hub of Guayaguil.

This comes days after 2 major earthquakes struck Japan, killing some 40 people.
