Msia tightens border security over N Korea row.

Mar 08, 2017

All border security in M'sia has been tightened to ensure no North Koreans leave through our neighbouring countries.

The Perlis, Kedah and Johor Immigration Departments are on high alert after the the govt issued a ban on North Koreans leaving the country yesterday.

The order was in response to a similar ban on M'sian citizens in Pyongyang, which was also issued yesterday.

Meanwhile, the PM has given his assurance that the govt will do its best to ensure the safety of M'sians in North Korea.

The UN has also promised to help smoothen the process of bringing out 2 of its staff members, who are M'sians, from Pyongyang.
