Selangor police hunt door repair conman

Selangor police are searching for a man who has been masquerading as a door repairman to cheat people out of money.

The man in his 40s would show up at shops and demand payment from workers, claiming he was told by their boss to collect the money from them for work he did at the boss' home.

He managed to cheat a worker in Hulu Selangor out of 600 ringgit but failed in another attempt.

Police are now looking for the light-skinned, medium height suspect, who's believed to be involved in similar offences in other districts.
