Fatal Bus Crash on PLUS Highway

Two people were killed in a bus crash on the North South Highway near the Bukit Merah rest area in Perak yesterday evening.
A female passenger died at the scene, while the bus driver succumbed to injuries at a clinic, after the bus tried to avoid a rolling tyre, and crashed into a divider.
The 36 other passengers on board suffered a range of injuries.
The accident caused traffic congestion for about 10 kilometers.
