MH370 Tripartite Meeting later this month.

Jul 01, 2016

A ministerial-level meeting between Malaysia, China and Australia will take place on the 19th of this month, to discuss the next course of action in the search for MH370.

The Transport Ministry says all 3 countries remain committed to look for the missing flight in the 120 thousand square kilometre search area.

The search operations in the southern Indian Ocean has been hampered by bad weather, and it will resume once the situation improves.

Meanwhile, the Transport Minister has assured that security at Malaysian Airports remains high, following the deadly suicide attack at Istanbul's main airport.

Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai says the security level at Malaysia's airports had been heightened since the airport bombing in Brussels in late March.
