The heavy schoolbag issue could be solved by Hari Raya.
Education Minister Dr Maszlee Malik says he hopes to make it a Raya gift to parents nationwide, with their children having lighter schoolbags when they return to school from the holidays.
He also declared public universities are now allowed to organise academic programmes like debates, forums and intellectual discourse, as are being practised by leading universities in the world.
