The Finance Ministry will be appointing an accounting firm to conduct a special audit and review of 1MDB, to determine its true state of financial affairs.
This, after Minister Lim Guan Eng was informed by two company directors, that 1MDB is insolvent and unable to pay its debts.
The two had also claimed that nearly 10 billion ringgit supposedly held in overseas investment funds, were also scams.
