Malaysia may be hot right now...

Oct 24, 2017

Malaysia may be hot right now, but there's not going to be a heatwave over the next 5 days.

The Met Department has slammed the social media rumours, and urged the public to get valid information from its website.

The highest temperature recorded last week was 36 degrees celcius, 1 degree below the heatwave temperature.

The current hot spell in Klang Valley has been blamed on Typhoon Lan, which slammed into Japan a few days ago.

Meanwhile, the Health Ministry has advised the public to drink more water to avoid dehydration and heatstroke.
