Rural and Regional Development Ministry to assist in MACC probe

The Rural and Regional Development Ministry has vowed to give its full support to the MACC's probe into its secretary general.
This, after the official and his 2 sons were remanded for 7 days, on charges of corruption, abuse of power and money laundering.
The MACC arrested the official, a Datuk, at his home in Subang Jaya yesterday, and seized cash and gold bars worth 3 million ringgit.
