New Year's fireworks mishap in Klang

An internal probe into the New Year's fireworks mishap in Klang will be ready in 2 weeks time. 

The Klang Municipal Council says the probe will determine if there were any elements of negligence in the incident, which injured 14 people. 

The council has also denied issuing a statement to a local newspaper, claiming that police were part of the organising committee. 

This, after South Klang police said they had minimal contact with the organisers, who also failed to apply for a permit.
