The govt is looking to introduce a Gender Equality Act, to deal with discrimination against women
The Women, Family and Community Development Ministry says in addition, the govt is looking to amend existing laws to accomodate the proposed gender equality bill.
This includes the Employment Act, the Pensions Act, the Penal Code, and the Domestic Violence Act.
