Sep 28, 2016

Close to 2,500 motorists will be taken to court starting next month, for illegally using emergency lanes.

According to the JPJ, the offenders had been given their court notices since last May.

So far, some 50 motorists have been taken to court for illegal emergency lane use, all linked to an incident in Ayer Keroh, Melaka in which the culprits blocked the path of an ambulance that was rushing to an accident scene.
