No special holiday for private sector this Friday, if Hari Raya falls on Wednesday

Private sector workers will not get a special holiday this Friday, if Hari Raya falls on Wednesday. 
 
The Malaysian Employers Federation says the private sector is not bound by the declaration, that federal and state civil servants will get a special Raya holiday on that date. 

However, its executive director Datuk Shamsuddin Bardan says staff are still free to take leave, so they can enjoy a long Raya break with their families.
