Operations room set up to monitor haze

The Education Ministry says an operations room was set up 2 days ago, to monitor the haze that started appearing in the country earlier this week. 

The monitoring is conducted with the help of the Met Dept and other relevant ministeries. 

The ministry adds if the situation worsens, it will issue the necessary SOPs. 

However, the situation in the Peninsular seems to be improving, with no areas reporting Air Pollutant Index readings of above 70, as at noon today.
