The current hazy conditions are due to dry weather and open burning.
The Science, Technology and Innovation Ministry adds however, that isolated afternoon rain is expected to occur throughout the country until the end of this week.
Earlier, it was reported that satellite footage had found 23 hotspots in central Sumatera, 77 in Kalimantan, 2 in Pahang and another 2 in Sarawak.
