Schools not allowed to impose fines on students who break the rules

Jun 23, 2016

This, after a female student at a secondary school in Kedah was fined 100 ringgit for having a short, boyish hairstyle.

She was given the option of paying the fine, or wearing a headscarf until her hair grows back.
