Mamak owner admits mistake after customer gets RM10 air-conditioning charge

The owner of a mamak restaurant in KL has admitted one of the staff made a mistake, after a customer was slapped with a 10 ringgit air conditioning charge.
The issue went viral last week, when a receipt showing the unsual charge was uploaded on social media.
Meanwhile, the Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry says the restaurant in Bangsar is also being investigated for overcharging.
It's because customers were allegedly charged prices that were higher than what was displayed on the menu.
