Ops Selamat CNY Starts This Sunday!
Feb 11, 2026

PDRM’s Ops Selamat campaign for Chinese New Year will run from this Sunday until February 20th.
Just like previous operations, it will focus on crime prevention and traffic management.
Bukit Aman says over 3,600 cops will be on duty along major roads and highways during the six-day campaign to prevent accidents and ensure smooth traffic flow.
The focus will be on over 70 accident hotspots and blackspots along major highways, and 400 similar locations on Federal and State roads.
Cops will also step up patrols at over 3,000 crime hotspots nationwide, to prevent things like break-ins when people leave their homes for the festive period.
