Residents living near the area that was hit by a landslide in Taman United, Seputeh, have been urged to move to a temporary relief centre.
Brickfields police say it's for their own safety, as further soil movements have been detected in the area.
Two nearby roads have since been closed off to traffic.
The landslide caused a retaining wall to collapse, damaging several cars and vehicles, but no casualties were reported.
