50% PDRM Summons Discount

Motorists are being offered a 50% discount for the payment of all traffic summonses issued by the police.  

The Home Ministry says it's a gesture of appreciation to Malaysians in conjunction with National Day. 

The discount, from today until Malaysia Day on Sept 16th, only covers payments via the MyBayar PDRM portal, for those who log in with MyDigital ID.

Starting today 22 million Malaysians can start using the one-off RM100 SARA assistance at participating retailers, for the purchase of essential items.  

The Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry also reminded people to separate their SARA-listed essential items from other purchases, to avoid delays at payment counters.

Lawyers representing the family of UTM Palapes cadet Syamsul Haris have renewed calls for an inquest into his death. 

They say an inquest is necessary, after his second autopsy revealed suspicious injuries that warrant further investigation.
