Authorities will take stern action against anyone who operates micromobility vehicles on public roads.

The Melaka JPJ deputy director warned that such behavior is not only illegal, but also poses a danger to other road users.

He adds that such vehicles are only permitted in designated areas such as recreational parks, dedicated lanes, or private premises.

This, after a video of three individuals riding electric scooters on a public road in Melaka went viral on social media.

The government has yet to make a final decision about implementing the work from home policy during the ASEAN summit in KL at the end of the month.  

The Communications Ministry says the Cabinet is still discussing the matter. 

The proposal came about following the severe traffic congestion in the Klang Valley, during the Chinese president’s recent visit to Malaysia.

Compliance with the new medicine price display order has been satisfactory.

The Health Ministry also stressed that private healthcare facilities and pharmacies still have a three-month grace period to implement the measures.

During this time, they will not face fines or compounds if they fail to display medicine prices.

More lower-priced special grade chicken eggs are on the way.

The Agriculture and Food Security Ministry says it'll increase the production of these eggs to provide more affordable options, while helping to stabilize prices.

This, following the government's recent decision to end egg subsidies starting August.

The MACC has handed the case of a woman, who went missing en-route to a meeting with the commission, to the police to investigate.

According to FMT, cops say they've yet to uncover any major leads in their case, despite having interviewed 12 people.
