KLIA 2 Temporarily Inaccessible Due To Xi Jinping Visit

Expect to make some adjustments to your travel plans, if you plan to head to the KLIA tomorrow and on Thursday.
This, as Malaysia Airports said that KLIA's Terminal 2 will be temporarily inaccessible to road users on those two days, due to the state visit of Chinese president Xi Jinping.
The closure will affect all departures, arrivals and parking areas at Terminal 2.
During this time, you can only access the terminal via the KLIA Transit service.
Meanwhile, PLUS Malaysia is advising motorists to plan their journeys to the airport, due to road closures that will happen during President Xi's visit.
Details of the road closures are available on the AstroRadio Traffic social media platforms.

PM Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim will travel to Thailand this week, where he will meet with his Thai counterpart.

The Selangor government is offering 100 temporary homes in Sepang to residents affected by the Putra Heights gas pipeline explosion, at a rental rate of RM850 per month.
Meanwhile infrastructure and landscape cleanup work in two affected Putra Heights areas is currently at 90% completion.
