Putra Heights PPSs To Be Shut Down

The temporary shelters for those affected by the Putra Heights gas pipeline blast will soon be shut down.
The Selangor MB says the first shelter, in Dewan Camelia, is expected to clsoe tonight,
A second shelter may close by the end of this week or early next week, while the PPS at the Putra Heights Mosque is expected to close by the weekend.
He adds that authorities have so far verified close to 470 households that are eligible to receive financial aid to repair their damaged homes.
They will receive either RM5,00 or RM10,000 depending on the extent of the damage.
Meanwhile, telcos have offered their assistance to those affected by the Putra Heights gas pipeline explosion.
Govt spokesman Datuk Fahmi Fadzil says it includes temporarily waiving their phone bills, and the free replacement of damaged sim cards.

A teenager in Johor has been remanded for further investigations, for allegedly creating sexually explicit AI images of women and selling them online.
Earlier reports said the victims included students of a high school there.
