New Lead In Zayn Rayyan Probe

A new video has surfaced, that could shed some light on the murder of Zayn Rayyan back in 2023.
The TikTok clip, which was sent to the boy’s mother, shows them walking towards a parking area at their apartment shortly before his disappearance.
The video was captured approximately 200 meters from where the six-year-old's body was later found.
Zayn’s mother has since lodged a report over the clip, while police say it will serve as a new lead in their investigation.

Be careful of online scams using deepfake technology.
This, as police have detected five such videos on social media since last year.
Cops say that the AI-generated videos often feature well known politicians and business leaders, including our Prime Minister and the US President.
They add that these videos are usually used to promote investment fraud syndicates that offer lucrative returns.
Cops also say these clips are being shared on different platforms, but are all believed to have been produced by the same syndicate, with the aim of duping unsuspecting victims.

The Higher Education Ministry says it has not received any information on whether Malaysian students were affected by the deadly attack in Southern Thailand on Saturday.
